The 22nd Annual John Denofrio Memorial Golf Tournament, which took place at the Emerald Links Golf and Country Club in Ottawa which had 120 golfers, over 200 guests attended the sold-out dinner, which raised over $26,000 for Villa Marconi. The funds generated from this event will assist the 128 residents at the Villa Marconi Long Term Care Centre in providing the highest quality of care to the residents in the spirit of respect and dignity, and provide day programs for seniors and offer a community/cultural centre for local Italian/Canadians of all ages, as well as neighbouring residents.
MC’s for the evening were Dave Schreiber, and Gary Michaels, who kepted the guests entertained all evening . Just to name a few guests in the room were Hon. Bob Chiarelli, MPP Minister of Energy, Gary Guzzo, Audrey Denofrio (wife of the late John Denofrio with her family) and many more. Special thanks go out to the Committee Members, Stu Cameron, David Carbonetto, Linda Denofrio, Gerry Dover, Yinnie Lim, Pina McClurg, and Domenic Ricci who did an amazing job pulling a great event together.
